General Information on Users, Group Management and Company Structure
OERCA is designed to provide a complex suite of data management tools across many facets of zoological management. However, OERCA also goes to great lengths to simplify and keep User interfacing as intuitive as possible for ease and efficiency of use.
User Management is broken down into nine basic permission groups, or sets of unique User roles. They are:
Company Administration (Admin)
- Access to creating and managing User Accounts
- Setting up Facility information and preferences
- Tracking User activity
- Producing Audit Reports on Active and Inactive User Accounts, Group Assignments and Functions
Facility Management
- All animal related functionality/tools
- Main Menu items
- Report Center
- Analysis Center
- Facility settings
- User Activity
- Scheduling tools
- Employee Profile management
- Animal Profile management
- Notifications management
- System messaging tools
- Pharmacy inventory
Health Management
- Specialized set of Health Management Tools including:
- Medical analysis
- Lab management tools
- Physical Exams
- Therapy Plans
- Pharmacy management
- Pharmacological Guide
- In addition to general category Facility management tools:

- Report Center
- Analysis Center
- System messaging tools
Husbandry Member
- All animal related functionality/tools
- Main Menu items (Area husbandry management tools)
- Staff and Animal Calendars

Dive Management
- Full access to all dive related configuration tools
- Full access to all dive functions
Dive Member
- All Main menu items related to dive operations
- Access to all daily dive functions
- Access to dive reports
Water Management
- Access to all water management configuration tools
- Access to all front line water management input tools
- Access to all water management reports
Water Management Member
- Access to front line water management input tools
- Access to all water management reports
Intern/Volunteer Member
- Limited set of recording tools and access to:
- Animal/Data recording tools
- Main Menu items
- Report Center
- Analysis Center
Upon login, members of each User Group see a different set of tools and menu items based on that User Group's permissions and access. Only Company Admin Users can set or change a User's "Group" membership.
