Summary
OERCA's Animal Registry component allows Users to manage all activity related to census management. This includes the addition of individuals/collections, reductions, transfers and even editing census details. This article will walk you through the process of editing information related to individual animals entered into OERCA.

TO EDIT AN INDIVIDUAL ANIMAL FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

Click on the Registry button in the left navigation panel to open OERCA's Registry component.

Double click on the animal you want to edit. This will open a profile card that will allow you to make changes to the information associated with that individual animal.

The User can edit the Given Name/ID, gender or species using the fields in the upper box of the Edit modal. You can also change whether you want to record behavioral training data for the individual by toggling the Yes/No button.

Navigate between the various tabs to edit additional information within the lower section of the edit modal. This includes:

Acquisition Data;

Identification information;

Biological information; and

Status/Disposition changes

When all edits are complete, click on the green check-mark to submit changes.
BE AWARE::
Any changes made to an animals Status/Disposition will result in the removal of that individual from your facility's data entry tools. All historical data will remain.
