Respiration Rate Threshold Alert (Instant)

If a respiration rate is recorded that falls outside of the Respiration Threshold settings, an instant automated alert is sent to designated recipients.

To configure Respiration Threshold limits, follow these instructions:

To Access the Respiration Threshold settings, navigate via the following menus:

1. Click on the Facility Settings button (gear icon) 
2. Click the Respirations Threshold link 

4. Enter a numerical value for both the LOW and HIGH respiration rate threshold.  
5. Submit to save the setting. 

*Only Users who have turned "On" the Respiration Alert in Communication Center will receive Respiration Threshold Alerts. 

NOTE: Any respiration rate entered in the OERCA system that is outside of the range prescribed in Respiration Thresholds will trigger an automatic and instant alert.
