Summary
OK, we all make mistakes from time to time. Wouldn't it be great if you could just "undo" a mistake? Well you can...at least while using the Animal Registry. The article below will show how you can remove (or "undo") a Registry transaction that you made.
NOTE: If you need more information, you may want to watch our video tutorial about this feature.
TO UNDO A REGISTRY TRANSACTION FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
- Go to your Animal Registry page and click on the "Activity" button.
- Select the transaction (row) that you want to remove. Row will highlight in blue when selected.
- Click the "Undo Transaction" button. A confirmation message will display asking, "Are you sure you want to undo the selected transaction". Click "Yes".
And that's all there is to it! It is important to note that there are some rules regarding the undo transaction tool.
IMPORTANT RULES WHEN USING "UNDO"
- This can only be used for new additions, internal transfers, mortalities and reconciliations;
- Can only be completed by the same User that created the transaction;
- Must be within 48 hours of the "Created" date;
- Transaction cannot have any other dependent transactions
