STEP-BY-STEP: How to edit or void existing Session records
Applies to:
- Facility Manager Group
In View/Edit Sessions, Authorized Users can edit or void Session Records.
To Edit an existing Session Record:
- Search for the record by Animal, Date and/or Trainer.
- Once located, make necessary changes directly to the fields on the left of the View/Edit Sessions dialog.
- Select "Submit" to save changes.
To Void an existing Session Record:
- Search for the record by Animal, Date and/or Trainer.
- Once located, select "Void" from the menu choices at the bottom right of the dialog.
- In the "Void this Session" pop-up, check the "Void this Session" box and enter the Reason for voiding the record.
- Select "Submit" to complete the void.
NOTE: Session Records are a regulatory requirement. Therefore OERCA protects all records by tracking changes in transactional archives. Additionally, no record can be fully deleted from the system, only "voided," which merely moves the record to a static depository.
