Summary
The Dive Module is a sophisticated tool that was created to handle the most complex aspects of your Company's dive management . Because this module is comprehensive and the activities/approvals surrounding professional dive operations can be complex, there are a variety of configuration requirements that must be completed prior to utilizing this component. These configurations can be somewhat involved when initially entering them into the system; however, once they are completed there should be very few occasions that they will need to be modified again.
NOTE: Your Company MUST create a "Dive Facility" prior to utilizing the Dive Module. This is a virtual facility that houses the Dive Module and all related tools. Contact OERCA at support@oerca.com to request the creation of this facility in your Company configuration.
Navigate to the Dive Module
To begin, you will need to navigate to the Dive Module. Depending on your User credentials, you may arrive in the Dive Module as soon as you log in. If your primary access is an animal Facility, you will need to select "Dive Operations" from the Company Navigation dropdown as shown below.
Setup Procedures
The following is a list of the setup/configuration procedures necessary to begin using the dive module. Each of these steps is required before any dive tools can be utilized. To access these tools, you will click on the Settings button (gear icon) in the upper right hand corner of the menu bar.
NOTE: The very first step when adding divers to OERCA is to create User Accounts and assign them to a Dive permission group using your Company's Administration access.
TIP: Order is important. Certain configurations need to be completed before a full Diver Profile can be entered into the system. Be sure to configure Dive Sites, Team List, Dive Activities, Diver Titles and Diver Status before setting up Diver Profiles.
