- Members with Secondary access to Dive Management/Dive Member permissions.
Follow the steps below to record a dive in OERCA:
-
From the Main Menu in the Dive Module, click on the Dive Log button (Dive Log is the default view when you navigate to Dive Operations).
-
A list of all dives scheduled for the current day will show in the table. Click on the Dive you want to record and it will open in a new window.
NOTE: Each dive will have an colored orb in the far right column indicating its status. If the orb is colored GREY, it means the dive has not been recorded yet. If it is GREEN it indicated the dive has been initiated and is in the process of recording. If it is RED, it indicates the dive had been completed.
-
Click the Set Weather button to open a pop-up modal for you to select a weather code. Use the slider bar to change your selection. Click the Submit button when complete.
-
Click the Open Log button once a weather code is selected. This button will only be active (clickable) once a weather code is selected.
-
Check the box to indicate that the Pre-Dive Checklist has been complete. You can click the "i" icon next to the checkbox to open a pop-up modal of the checklist.
-
Check the box to indicate that the Safety Checklist has been complete. You can click the "i" icon next to the checkbox to open a pop-up modal of the checklist.
-
Select the Tank size from the drop-down list and enter the Air In reading for each diver's tank.
-
Click the Start button to begin a dive (or enter a start time with the time picker). The start button will only become active when all the above items (#5 - #7) have been completed.
-
Click the Stop button to end your dive (or enter an end time with the time picker).
-
Select the Actual Depth of the completed dive.
-
Click on the Sections button and the Activities button to mark sections/activities completed during the dive.
-
Enter the Air Out reading of each diver's tank when the dive is finished.
-
Click the Close Log button when finished. Dive is now complete.
NOTE: The order in which these are completed is important. The completion of each series of steps will trigger whether or not certain buttons are active. If you find you are unable to click on one of the buttons (showing inactive or "greyed out") it is likely you did not complete a step listed here.
