Summary
The final step in completing the cycle of a logged dive is for a manager or supervisor to approve the dive. All completed dives in OERCA must be approved for them to show in the Dive Log Report.
NOTE: Only Users who are granted Custom User Rights (CUR) to approve dives can complete this process. CUR's are assigned using the User Management tool within the Admin Permission Group.
STEP-BY-STEP: How to Approve a Dive
Applies to:
- Dive Members with CUR (Custom User Rights) to approve completed dives.
Follow the steps below to approve a dive in OERCA:
Hover over the left-menu "Resources" then select Dive Approval from the sub-menu list.

From the Main Menu of the Dive Module, click on the Dive Approval button.

Adjust the slider bar at the top to select the desired date range of dives you want to view. This will default to the previous week.

Click on the diver you want to approve (or reject). This will launch a new pop-up modal.
NOTE: The Status column on the left will display an icon to show you the current standing of each dive. A green check-mark indicates approved, an orange question mark indicates no assignment has been made, and a red exclamation mark shows a rejected dive.

Click on the Approve or Reject button to assign status of the dive and then click the Submit button.
