Remove Area/Exhibits

Summary

In OERCA, data is organized for each Company by defining virtual "Facilities", which in turn may have multiple Areas/Exhibits (habitats) within them.  If you wish to remove an Area/Exhibit from your Facility, you will use the Facility & Exhibit management tool.

Remove "Areas/Exhibits" from a Facility

1. Click on the Facility & Exhibit link from the Settings Menu (as shown above).
   
   
2. Be sure the "Area/Exhibits" tab is selected.
3. Select the Area/Exhibit you want to remove from the list (will highlight in blue), and then click the "Edit" button.
   
   

4. Uncheck the "Active" box.
5. Click the green check mark when complete.

Important:  You cannot deactivate (remove) an area/exhibit that still has animals assigned to it.  You must first transfer all animals out of the area/exhibit before it can be deactivated.
