Logging Into OERCA

Summary

When Users are first added to the OERCA system, they will receive a "Welcome to OERCA" email giving instructions on how to log in for the first time.  While the process is fairly straight forward, this article will help walk you through the entire process. You can also check out our Getting Started video to learn more.

NOTE:  if you are issued a Password Reset, the process for logging in is the same as demonstrated below.  The only difference is that instead of using the "initial password" from the welcome email, you will use a temporary password that is sent to you from OERCA System Administration. 

Logging Into OERCA For The First Time

1. When a User Profile is created for you in the OERCA system, you will receive a "Welcome to OERCA" email as shown above.
2. To log into OERCA, open your web browser and go to www.oerca.net to access the login screen.  It is highly recommended that you use Google Chrome as your browser. 

3. Type in your assigned Username
4. Enter the temporary Password that was included in your Welcome to OERCA email message. When you click on the Login button, you will be prompted to immediately enter a new personal password.

NOTE:  Your Username may be different than the email address that received the "Welcome to OERCA" message if a preferred email (an active email address that is different than your Username) was configured when creating your User account. You ALWAYS want to use the UserID that was specified in the welcome message as your Username. 

5. Enter and confirm your own unique password and then click on the Change and Login button.
6. You will now be logged into OERCA.
